  1. Preheat oven to 375F
  2. Mix the semolina, flour, baking powder, turmeric and ground aniseed in a bowl
  3. Add the butter to the bowl and mix with the flour.
  4. Combine and sugar and milk. Once dissolved, the the milk and sugar to the flour mix.
  5. Mix all the ingredients until you get a smooth texture
  6. Pour the ingredients into a greased pan. The pan should be higher than two inches in height. I used a rectangular shaped pan.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
  8. Let it cool down when finished. Cut into squares or whatever shape you like and enjoy 🙂
